Pastor Russ Jeandell

Russell G. Jeandell (Russ) was born January 2, 1947. Russ grew up in the Hamilton Park area of New Castle, DE and attended a small church near his home.

It was there that he felt the prompting of God to enter full-time ministry. Russ attended De La Warr High School where he played football and wrestled. But most important, it was at De La Warr that he met Lynn.

They both attended Philadelphia College of the Bible (Philadelphia Biblical University today). Upon graduation, they married and he did a tour of duty with the US Army. Re-entering civilian life, they moved to Dallas, Texas to attend Dallas Theological Seminary. After seminary, Russ served a church in north Idaho for a year and a half, a church near Pontiac, Michigan for 17 and a half years, and has been at Faith Community Church since 1995.

Lynn is a 3rd grade teacher in a local Christian school. They have two grown daughters, both of whom are music teachers.
