Frequently Asked Questions

Our church is on the south bound side of Route 13 (South DuPont Highway). The parking lot entrance is immediately past Johnny Janosik Furniture. In addition, you may park in the Department of Agriculture parking lot that immediate follows the church lot. You may enter this from Route 13 or from Old North Road.

Nursery (newborn –24 months) is provided during all our services. In addition we provide Children’s Church during the 11:00 AM service for children up through Kindergarten. All children are signed into our children’s ministries via computer sign up. The child is given a name tag. Only you are permitted to retrieve your child after the service. (The welcome center can help you with this process.) Background checks are done for each of our childcare workers.

People feel welcome in whatever they are wearing.

All of our music is selected for its scriptural content and its connection to the message that is preached that day. Our 11:00 AM service is a blend of contemporary Christian music and hymns led by a worship team. The 8:30 AM service is typically more traditional, using God-centered hymns led by a song leader. In both services you will see that our people sing and worship with great enthusiasm.

Our pastors and elders preach the Word of God in a very practical way with an emphasis on how it applies to life. We have been blessed to see lives changed by the Holy Spirit through the preaching at FCC. Please listen to a few samples on our sermons page.

We are glad you are reading your Bible. Our pew Bible is the New King James Version. But throughout the congregation many versions are represented and respected.

Yes, certainly! While we do have nursery during all our services and Children’s Church during our 11:00 service, we want you and your children to be comfortable in using these ministries. Also, our lobby provides seating and a video feed of the service if you prefer to stay there with your child, if you are afraid of possible distractions.

We do not expect visitors and friends to participate in giving, but as you become a regular attender, we trust you will grow in your understanding of the importance of giving sacrificially out of every area of your life. We hope that no one here gives out of obligation, but rather out of joy for the Lord’s work. These offerings help us as we seek to keep our ministries running well. In addition it gives us opportunity to support missionaries throughout the world.

No, you do not have to join the church to serve. We require all non-members to sign a Non-Member agreement that states you are in alignment with us in regards to doctrine and will have to go through a background check and child safety training if working with children or youth.

What We Believe.

A summary of Faith Community’s Churches Statement of Faith.

We believe the Holy Bible is the verbally inspired Word of God, inerrant and infallible, the supreme authority and the final rule in life and faith.

We believe there is one living and true God eternally existing in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, the same in substance, equal in power and glory.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the Eternal Son of God, became man, without ceasing to be God, having been conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, in order that He might reveal God and redeem sinful man.

The Holy Spirit is a Person who convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgment, the Agent in regeneration, baptizing all believers into the Body of Christ, indwelling and sealing them, the divine Teacher who guides believers into all truth; believers are exhorted to be filled with the Spirit.

The Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice; all who believe in Him are justified on the ground of His shed blood and righteousness.

B. We believe that all human beings are born with a sinful nature which is enmity against God and are utterly unable to remedy their lost condition. (Romans 3:23; 5:12; Ephesians 2:1-3) However, we also believe that until a person reaches the “age of accountability,” he will not be held accountable for his sins. (2 Samuel 12:23)

God sets us apart at the time of our personal receiving of Christ as Lord and Savior, and we experience sanctification to the degree we yield to God, separate from sin and grow in wisdom, knowledge, experience and grace.

We believe in the bodily resurrection of all people, the saved to eternal life and the unsaved to judgment and everlasting punishment.

The Church is the body and the espoused bride of Christ, a spiritual organism made up of all born-again persons of this present church age.

We believe that God created humankind in His image as represented in two and only two genders – male and female. We believe in the heterosexual marriage relationship as the only God-ordained family system.
